1. Who we are

TARA-EQ is operated by Tarannum, through Enlightenment, trading as The Awakening Method. For any privacy question or request, contact us at tarannum.siddiqui@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

• Conversation messages you share with TARA, stored privately and securely.
• Your name, email address, and WhatsApp number, if you choose to share them to receive your pattern guide and follow-up messages.
• A record of your consent — that you agreed, when, and which version of the consent notice you saw.
• If you subscribe to a paid plan: your subscription status and a reference id from our payment provider (Razorpay or PayPal). We never see or store your card or bank details — the payment provider handles those directly.
• Anonymous safety-event records (a timestamp and an anonymous device id only, never your message content) if something you write suggests you may be at risk of harm.
• Basic technical data our hosting provider (Vercel) collects automatically, such as your approximate country, used only to run the service and show you the right payment option for your region.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to have the reflection conversation with you, generate your pattern guide, send it and related follow-up messages by email and WhatsApp (only if you consented), process your subscription if you choose to subscribe, recognise and respond to safety-risk language, improve TARA, and meet our legal and safety obligations.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure hosted database, and your conversation is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate TARA's replies. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. We keep your data for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it, except for records we must keep for legal, tax, or accounting reasons (such as payment and consent records).

5. Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your conversations and contact details at any time by emailing tarannum.siddiqui@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data." We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to retain.

6. Third parties

We share data only with the providers that help us run TARA, and only what each one needs to do its job. We do not sell your data.

• Anthropic (Claude AI) processes your conversation to generate TARA's replies.
• Supabase stores your data in a secure database.
• Vercel hosts the website and resolves your approximate country.
• Razorpay or PayPal process payments if you subscribe; we never see or store your card or bank details.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) receives limited, content-free signals — such as that a form was submitted or a subscription started — through the Meta Pixel, so we can measure and improve our advertising. This never includes your conversation content.
• Make and WATI may receive your name, email, phone number, and pattern result to send you WhatsApp and email follow-ups, only if you consented.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email tarannum.siddiqui@gmail.com.
